Welcome to "CMC Bawley". A country home, with shady verandas, surrounded by an acre of lawns and paddocks- just 5 minutes walk to the beach! Yes, this is a rare find, the best of both worlds, where country meets coast.

"What a lovely place you have here, thank you for having us! We truly enjoyed our stay and will be back again. It's so peaceful here and listening to the wildlife is just what we needed to escape the city hustle and bustle!

Thank you Katharine and Therese for allowing us the pleasure of staying in your lovely home! This is the second time I've stayed in CMC Bawley. The house has everything it needs for a full stay complete with kitchen, lounge, dining and two bathrooms. The place could easily accommodate families with children as there is plenty to keep them occupied - from books in the library, videos, bike riding, playing on the piano and plenty of board games.

You will be greeted by the local kangaroos as you drive in. We particularly loved the full use of the verandah that wraps itself around the house. We enjoyed having morning coffee and breakfast out the front, barbecue lunch on the side deck, and watching the sun set out the back. The front and back yards are big enough to kick a soccer ball around.

The bbq makes easy meals and was particularly fantastic for fry ups! There's a lovely cafe a few minutes walk up the road if you don't feel like cooking breakfast, which we did a couple of times. Garnet Beach is less than 10 minutes walk with a few more around the 'point' a short distance drive away. We suggest putting out a handful of seeds on the birdhouse and watch all the vibrant local birds feed - extremely relaxing.

There's always something to do from relaxing on the hammock, hiking coastal walking trails, sipping wine from the local nearby vineyards...it's really up to you to make your stay great!" March 2015
